About Judith Pontius
I received my training from East-West College of the Healing Arts here in Portland Oregon. There, I studied over 600 hours in massage, Anatomy and Physiology, Pathology, and Hydrotherapy. I have also received advanced training in deep tissue, sports massage, and soft-tissue release. These advanced trainings help me treat chronic pain, injuries, and enhance sport performance.

As a Massage Therapist, I aim to meet many needs whether that be stress relief, facilitation of injury recovery, or gentle relaxation. patient comfort and trust are of crucial importance to me. Massages are performed in a safe, clean, and private space so that optimal comfort is achieved. Each session is individualized to your specific needs. I am very aware of the result that the stresses of daily life and injuries can have on the body. My goal is to work through the tension and stress to help the body return to its balanced state.

Elisa Mattice, BS, LMT
Since I was a child, I have always wanted to be a healer. I have found a fantastic outlet for that dream by practicing massage and my work as an herbalist. I am a graduate of the East-West College of the Healing Arts in Portland, OR. I have also studied traditional Thai massage techniques and herbal medicine in Thailand. Most of my herbal knowledge has been gained through classes and gatherings in Oregon and California.
During the 8 years that I have been a practicing massage therapist, I have learned how to alleviate stress and chronic pain through a variety of massage techniques. I understand that each client has individual needs when it comes to their healing process, which is why I craft each massage to address the issues they are currently carrying. I practice Deep Tissue, Craniosacral Therapy, Thai Massage, Swedish Massage, Myofascial Release, Polarity Therapy, Reflexology, Pregnancy Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, and Aromatherapy. I use my handmade massage products from my company, Outer Wisdom Herbals, in every massage to nourish and heal the body, mind, and spirit. They are designed for the needs I see in my clients, friends, and family, and work on a systemic level even after the massage is finished.
